Monday, Finally March

 - California ‘governor’ trying to pass a law raising minimum wages, except for places that sell bread products by themselves. Quick peek into how much $ places that sell basically anything and bread reveals not so surprising connection between them and ‘campaign’ funds. I’m more sure now than ever that most laws in the modern era are glorified extortion, in that paying into campaigns is protection from incumbents 

- John Cornyn has thrown his hat into the ring to be Senate Majority Leader…just HELL NO. Cornyn needs to be bum-rushed out of his senator’s seat, out of Texas altogether.

- The media issue isn’t them pushing censorship. The fundamental issue is that people make up outlandishly false info and try to pass it off as researched truth.if people in general would just stop bullshitting to achieve agendas 

- I wonder what percentage of post civil war settlers actually had to fight hostile Indians, tornados, etc.  My bet is pretty low.

- Apparently there is a ‘book’ out now called White Rural Rage detailing how people living outside major metro areas are a threat to democracy. Uh, gentlemen, rural has nothing to do with contemporary government media fundamentally reshaping the American landscape (sound familiar? Think Obama made that his platform) nor does white, but hell yes we are enraged. Exactly NOTHING the urban transformations have jammed down our throats has been good for anyone (in this country). How about the authors spend a bit of time in Wink Tx, Anniston Al, Farmington NM, or any other place. We are pretty sick of urban shit, sick enough y’all might not like the way we fix it

- Last week a guy participating in the NFL combine set a 40 yd dash time of 4.21 seconds. Big deal you say? For a short time this guy was running at almost 20 MPH. That…is fast

- A popular saying compares lyrics from the 70s (Stairway to Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody, etc) to the verbal tripe vocalized by Beyoncé and other such acts.  While funny, I’d like to remind everyone that our generation was also responsible for Yummy Yummy Yummy, Love in My Tummy…stupid lyrics are not exclusive to modern pop.

- I don’t recall this inane level of political warfare before the multi-faced Obama referred to political opponents as the enemy. Since then, it really has been an escalating Cold War, and soon to be a national hot one.

- Sen Ted Cruz appeared on my news feeds pontificating how Biden campaigned on opening our borders.  Well, no chit. You sir are a senator, one of just a handful of people who can force the ‘president’ to actually obey the laws your predecessors wrote. Please stop talking about it, and do it.
